WAREHOUSE MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to manage and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including material receiving, storage, inventory management, batch tracking, dispatch, and team supervision.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, inventory control, and problem-solving skills and ensure smooth, safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations.

Candidates with experience in the Paint, Chemical, or related Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in accordance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular physical stock audits and cycle counts.
- Implement and monitor FIFO / FEFO practices to minimize wastage and expiry-related losses.
- Track materials through batch numbers, expiry dates, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics teams for smooth material movement.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, particularly for hazardous and flammable materials.
- Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff to ensure efficient performance.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, and space utilization.
- Handle documentation related to inward and outward movements, GRN, dispatch challans, e-way bills,



and stock records.
- Monitor and minimize inventory discrepancies, material damage, wastage, and pilferage.
- Implement and maintain SOPs and standard warehouse procedures.
- Ensure timely dispatch of materials as per production and sales schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics vendors for smooth and timely deliveries.
- Ensure proper material handling and housekeeping within the warehouse.
- Monitor compliance with MSDS, fire safety, and chemical storage requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager.
- Experience in Paint, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Inventory Management Systems, ERP / WMS; SAP knowledge will be preferred.
- Valuable understanding of FIFO / FEFO and batch-wise inventory management.
- Knowledge of statutory and safety requirements related to hazardous and flammable material storage.
- Knowledge of MSDS, fire safety, and chemical handling procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting.
- Strong leadership, team management, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate warehouse documentation and reports.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
