About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Video Shooting & Editing Executive to shoot and edit short-form videos for Instagram and other social media platforms.

Content ideas, topics and scripts will be planned separately by our content team. The primary responsibility of this position is to convert those ideas into well-shot and engaging videos.

The role involves regular video shooting from our office, working with employees and students appearing in videos, and editing the footage into Reels and other social media formats.

We are looking for someone who can work quickly and practically. Not every video needs to look like a corporate production — the ability to produce natural, clean and engaging social media videos consistently is significant.

Key Responsibilities

- Shoot videos regularly using smartphones and/or cameras.
- Convert scripts and content concepts provided by the content team into videos.
- Record counsellors, managers, students and other team members.
- Assist and guide people during shooting to get natural and usable footage.
- Edit videos primarily for Instagram Reels and other short-form formats.
- Add subtitles, on-screen text, music, transitions and basic graphics where appropriate.
- Ensure good framing, lighting and audio quality.
- Produce edited videos with a quick turnaround.
- Capture office activities, events, student interactions and other relevant footage when required.




- Assist with basic photography when required.
- Organise and maintain video footage and other media files.
- Coordinate closely with the Social Media Content Executive for regular production.

Candidate Requirements

- Practical experience in video shooting and video editing.
- Ability to shoot valuable-quality videos using smartphones and/or cameras.
- Experience editing Instagram Reels or similar short-form videos.
- Working knowledge of relevant video editing software/apps.
- Valuable understanding of framing, lighting, audio and basic visual presentation.
- Ability to add subtitles, text, music and other standard Reel elements.
- Comfortable working with different people during video shoots.
- Ability to work quickly and handle regular video production requirements.
- Creative visual sense and attention to detail.

A formal qualification in video production, filmmaking or media is not mandatory.

Practical ability and portfolio will be given greater importance than educational qualifications.

Candidates should be prepared to share examples of videos they have personally shot and/or edited.
