Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor will be directly involved in day-to-day warehouse operations of a multinational pharmaceutical company. The role requires involvement in receiving, storage, material movement, production supply, finished product handling, dispatch, and manpower management.

Roles and Responsibilities

- - Supervise and manage receiving of raw materials and packing materials.
- Check, identify, and store materials in the designated storage locations.
- Coordinate and physically monitor the supply of materials to the production line.
- Manage finished product receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.
- Allocate and supervise casual labour for loading, unloading, and material movement.
- Perform and update material movements and inventory transactions in WMS and SAP.
- Conduct regular stock checks and resolve inventory discrepancies.




- Handle day-to-day issues related to materials, manpower, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
- Maintain warehouse documentation, housekeeping, and proper material identification.
- Follow pharmaceutical warehousing, safety, and handling procedures.
- Prepare daily warehouse reports and provide updates to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

- - Minimum +12 or Diploma. Education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in raw material, packing material, and finished product handling.
- WMS and SAP experience is mandatory.
- Experience managing casual labor.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
