About Kwill

Kwill is a client portal for freelancers and small studios — proposals, contracts, invoices, payments and a branded client portal in one place. We launch in September across 20 markets.

Our customers are designers and creatives. Everything we put in front of them has to be good, because they will judge it.

The role

You make everything visual: social graphics, short-form video, product screenshots, ad creative, presentation decks and marketing assets. You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager, who briefs you on what's needed.

We want someone genuinely fluent with AI tools — not as a gimmick, but because it lets one person produce what used to take three. If you're already using Midjourney, Runway, Firefly, ElevenLabs or Descript in your daily workflow, this role is built for you.

What you'll do

- Design social graphics, carousels and ad creative across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Threads
- Edit short-form video — Reels, Shorts, product demos, UGC edits, testimonial cuts
- Use AI tools to speed up production: image generation, background removal, upscaling, voiceover, auto-captioning, rough cuts
- Produce product marketing assets — screenshots, mockups, feature announcements, landing page visuals
- Design decks, one-pagers and sales collateral
- Keep everything on brand. Kwill's mark is a plain wordmark,



the colour is indigo, and the tone is warm and direct — not flashy
- Build and maintain a template library so recurring assets get faster over time

What we're looking for

- 1–3 years in graphic design and video editing — a portfolio is essential
- Strong with Figma or Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or After Effects)
- Genuinely comfortable with AI creative tools, and honest about what they're good and bad at
- You can cut short-form video that holds attention past three seconds
- Good typography instincts. Our audience notices
- Fast without being sloppy. We ship a lot

Nice to have

- Motion graphics or animation
- Experience making product UI look good in marketing assets
- Worked on a launch before
- Some illustration ability
