JOB POSITION: Weave Technician

Senior Jacquard & Velvet Designer with strong knowledge of weaving, fabric construction, Jacquard design development, and textile sketching. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing cutting-edge fabric designs from concept to production and should have a strong understanding of weaving techniques and Jacquard looms.

- Key Responsibilities Develop creative and commercially viable Jacquard & Velvet fabric designs as per market and customer requirements.
- Create and develop hand sketches, motifs, patterns, and textile designs.
- Convert concepts and sketches into production-ready Jacquard designs.
- Have strong practical knowledge of weaving techniques, fabric structures, yarns, and Jacquard looms.
- Coordinate closely with the weaving and production teams to ensure designs are technically feasible.
- Develop new patterns, textures, structures, and fabric collections.




- Review samples and make necessary design modifications before bulk production.
- Troubleshoot design and weaving-related issues during sampling and production.
- Keep updated with new textile trends, patterns, colours, and market developments.
- Work closely with the production team to maintain design quality and consistency.
- Maintain design records and ensure proper documentation of developed designs.
