Role Objectives:

RAKA Foundation for Special Needs, Sarjapur, Bangalore is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Fresher or experienced ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one therapy to individuals (primarily children) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental delays. You will work directly under the mentorship and supervision of a BCBA and a QBA, implementing evidence-based behavioral intervention plans to improve language and communication, social, and daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct Therapy Implementation: Execute Individual Education Plans (IEP), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under supervision of BCBA and QBA.
- Data Collection: Accurately record real-time data on client progress during sessions using digital tools or manual logs (e.g., frequency, duration, and ABC data).
- Session Preparation: Prepare instructional materials, reinforcers, and the environment before each therapy session.
- Team-oriented Care: Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the supervisors to review client progress, adjust techniques, and receive feedback.
- Family Interaction:



Provide brief, qualified updates to parents or caregivers at the end of sessions regarding the day’s goals and progress.
- Professional Ethics: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethics regarding client-therapist boundaries and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: * Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work (MSW).
- Open to all streams: We welcome fresh graduates from any field who demonstrate a strong passion for child development and behavioural science.
- Experience: At least one year experience is required.
- Skills:
- Teaching strategies of ABA: DTT, NET, etc.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and [Local Language, e.g., Hindi/Kannada].
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Physical stamina to engage in play-based therapy (sitting on the floor, moving quickly with a child).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
