Roles and Responsibilities of Lead – Merchandising

Responsible for production planning against forecast and projections in line with sales and also planning for seasons

Responsible for product creation processes for the overall product categories and differentiation within product assortments for production.

Responsible for sourcing, material follow up and jobwork follow up

Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance market expectations and company’s objectives

Responsible for monitoring and analysing the inventories for planning the production planning,

Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock

Collaborate with , suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales

Drive product assortments to ensure amplification of key products, concepts & stories with a retail end in mind





Responsible for planning and implementation of products categories to meet the market requirements and sales planning.

Create insightful and compelling product briefs by analyzing consumer, geography, commercial and competitive trends in the marketplace

Establish strategic product direction across product categories & key markets that address product flow, retail pricing, color strategy & sku investment

Collaborate with the design and development teams to hit key deliverables each season, including key meetings, product creation deadlines, seasonal design direction and profitable margins

Collaborate with Purchase, sourcing and sales counterparts to drive a cohesive production strategy

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
