About Nirora Practice

Nirora Practice is building a Platform for Consulting Firms — a B2B SaaS platform designed to help consulting firms deliver compliance, ESG and reporting services more efficiently.

We are currently at the MVP development stage and are looking for a CTO to join early and take complete ownership of the technology side of the company.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a CTO who can take complete technical ownership of building and scaling Nirora's technology.

You will work closely with the founder, who will primarily lead business, product, customer discovery, sales and overall company direction.

Your primary responsibility will be technology — from writing the initial code and making architecture decisions to building the engineering team and leading the technical direction as Nirora grows.

You will also work closely with the founder on product requirements and technical feasibility, and can be a key technical partner in product decisions. However, final ownership of product and business decisions remains with the founder.

What You Will Own

- Take complete ownership of Nirora's technology and technical direction
- Design, develop and maintain the complete product across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and integrations
- Build the initial product hands-on and take ownership from development to production
- Make key decisions around architecture, technology and engineering practices
- Translate product requirements into working, scalable technical solutions
- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into the product
- Design APIs, databases and backend services
- Set up and manage cloud infrastructure and deployments
- Establish security, performance, reliability and scalability practices
- Choose and manage the technology stack based on product and business requirements
- Own development processes, code quality and technical standards
- Hire, build and manage the engineering team as the company grows
- Decide when to remain hands-on and when to delegate based on team size and company needs
- Work closely with the founder on product requirements, technical feasibility and product decisions




- Have complete autonomy over technical decisions and execution

Technical Background

Strong experience in several of the following areas is expected:

- React / Next.js
- Node.js
- Python
- AI / LLM integration
- SaaS architecture
- REST APIs and backend development
- Database design
- Cloud infrastructure — AWS / Azure or equivalent
- Deployment, monitoring and production systems
- Building and scaling web-based products

You do not need to have experience with every technology listed above. Strong product-building ability, technical ownership and the ability to make pragmatic technology decisions matter more than matching a specific tech stack.

Product & Technical Collaboration

Although the CTO's responsibility is focused on technology, you will work closely with the founder on product development.

You should be comfortable with:

- Understanding business and product requirements
- Challenging technical or product assumptions when necessary
- Suggesting better technical approaches to product problems
- Evaluating technical feasibility and trade-offs
- Contributing to product decisions from a technical perspective
- Participating in customer conversations when technical understanding is valuable

You will own the “how” — how the product is designed, built, deployed and scaled. The founder will own the “what” — product direction, business priorities and company strategy.

- Can build the right technical foundation for an evolving SaaS product
- Can eventually build and lead an engineering team




- Takes responsibility for the reliability and quality of the product
- Can communicate technical concepts clearly with a non-technical founder
- Is willing to challenge assumptions and provide honest technical opinions
- Wants to build and own the technology of a company for the long term

Startup/founding experience is valuable, but strong product-company engineering experience is equally welcome.

Equity

This is an equity-only opportunity.

Equity will be discussed based on experience, contribution and level of responsibility.

The role is focused specifically on technical ownership. Equity will reflect the candidate's expected contribution, experience and long-term involvement with Nirora.
