Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to teach Grades 9–12. The ideal candidate should be able to explain mathematical concepts clearly, develop students' logical and analytical thinking, and build confidence in problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 9–12.
- Teach concepts systematically using appropriate examples, activities, and problem-solving techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Develop students' logical reasoning, numerical ability, and analytical skills.
- Provide additional academic support to students who require assistance.
- Prepare students for school examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Regularly assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Encourage students to apply mathematical concepts to real-life situations.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and career development programs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mathematics
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous teaching experience with Grades 9–12 preferred.
- Strong command of Mathematics and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to use digital tools and innovative teaching methods.
- Passion for teaching and helping students develop confidence in Mathematics.
