This is a functional, business-facing Xactly role and not a pure software-development role. The candidate will support the customer’s Phase 1 live payroll process while acting as the business-side lead for Phase 2 requirements, data readiness, UAT, and field enablement.

Key responsibilities

- Create training PowerPoint presentations and conduct live Zoom training sessions for field users.
- Respond to field-user questions related to Xactly, compensation, payouts, credits, and processes.
- Support quarterly payroll / sales-compensation processing for the teams already live in Phase 1.
- Work with the data-integration team to define Phase 2 data requirements, mappings, validation rules, and exception scenarios.
- Act as the functional customer representative for Phase 2.
- Gather and document functional requirements and create/review the FRD.
- Create UAT strategy, UAT scenarios, test cases, expected results, and defect logs.
- Execute UAT, validate calculations and data, coordinate defect resolution, and support go-live readiness.

Mandatory skills

- Hands-on experience with Xactly Incent, preferably in configuration, administration, production support, payroll/payout processing, UAT,



or implementation support.
- Strong understanding of sales compensation concepts: crediting, quotas, attainment, rate tables, payouts, adjustments, disputes, and reconciliation.
- Experience preparing FRDs / BRDs, process documents, training materials, and UAT artefacts.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, HRIS, payroll, or data-integration teams.
- Solid Excel skills; SQL/data validation experience is a major plus.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Confident presenter who can conduct structured Zoom training for a large US-based audience.
- Available to work PST hours for the three-month engagement.

Preferred skills

- Salesforce-to-Xactly integration exposure.
- Experience with Xactly Connect, Xactly reporting, templates, or participant statements.
- Experience supporting quarterly compensation payroll / commission cycles.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, B2B sales, or enterprise sales-compensation environments.
- Xactly Incent certification or equivalent practical implementation experience.
