Import Pricing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Import Pricing Executive / Senior Executive with solid hands-on experience in freight forwarding and import pricing.

The candidate will be responsible for handling import pricing activities, obtaining competitive freight rates, preparing quotations, negotiating with shipping lines and overseas agents, and supporting the Sales & Operations teams with accurate and commercially viable pricing.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end Import Pricing for Ocean and Air shipments.
- Obtain competitive freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, overseas agents and vendors.
- Prepare accurate and competitive import freight quotations for customers and the Sales team.
- Negotiate freight rates, destination charges and other applicable costs with carriers and vendors.
- Calculate complete import costs including:
- Ocean/Air Freight
- Origin Charges
- Destination Charges
- THC
- Documentation Charges
- Transportation Charges
- Handling Charges
- Other applicable surcharges
- Maintain and regularly update freight rate sheets, tariff sheets and pricing databases.
- Handle customer RFQs, spot quotations, tenders and special pricing requests.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations and overseas agents to ensure timely and accurate quotations.
- Monitor freight market trends, carrier rate changes and competitor pricing.
- Ensure pricing is commercially viable while maintaining required profit margins.




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs and overseas agents.
- Follow up on quotations and support the Sales team in converting quotations into business.
- Maintain records of quotations, rates and pricing activities.
- Prepare regular pricing and performance reports for management.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Import Pricing.
- Good knowledge of Ocean Freight and Air Freight.
- Strong understanding of FCL/LCL and import freight forwarding processes.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Import Pricing / Freight Forwarding.
- Candidates from Freight Forwarding.
- Should have hands-on experience in Import Pricing, not only general logistics operations.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with experience handling Ocean Import Pricing / Air Import Pricing will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of freight costing and rate negotiation is essential.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per hour
