About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Factory Works Manager to take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance of our manufacturing unit.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of hands-on experience in steel, metal fabrication, engineering, or similar manufacturing industries and strong experience managing factory/plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete factory/works operations, production, and shop-floor activities.
- Plan and achieve daily/monthly production targets and delivery schedules.
- Manage manpower, supervisors, operators, and contract workers.
- Oversee steel fabrication/manufacturing processes, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate PPC, maintenance, quality, stores, purchase, and dispatch.
- Monitor machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance, productivity, wastage, scrap, and rework.
- Ensure proper raw material utilization, inventory, and material movement.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.




- Maintain quality standards and reduce rejection/rework.
- Ensure strict factory safety, housekeeping, and statutory compliance.
- Control manufacturing costs and improve productivity, efficiency, and machine utilization.
- Handle factory-level technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare production/MIS reports and regularly update senior management.

Required Experience & Skills

- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing / factory / plant operations.
- Strong preference for Steel / Metal Fabrication / Structural Steel / Engineering Manufacturing experience.
- Experience as Works Manager, Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Plant Head, Production Head, or Manufacturing Manager.
- Robust knowledge of production, fabrication, machinery, maintenance, quality, and shop-floor management.
- Strong manpower, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of PPC, ERP/MIS, safety, cost control, and productivity improvement.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on factory leader who can independently manage people, production, machines, materials, quality, maintenance, safety, and delivery and take complete ownership of factory performance.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
