Position: Supermarket Supervisor

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising daily supermarket operations, ensuring smooth workflow across departments, maintaining customer service standards, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of supermarket staff.
- Allocate duties and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Monitor sales floor operations, product availability, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper product display, pricing, labelling, and promotional activities.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the receiving and inventory teams.
- Check expiry, damages, shortages, and stock discrepancies.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and proper housekeeping standards.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Ensure proper execution of opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate with Store Manager and department teams for smooth operations.




- Support achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Identify operational issues and take necessary corrective action.
- Ensure company procedures and supermarket standards are followed.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in supermarket/hypermarket/retail operations.
- Supervisory experience in a supermarket or retail environment preferred.
- Valuable communication and team-handling skills.
- Ability to manage staff and handle operational issues.
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of stock handling, merchandising, and supermarket operations.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
