Task Nera is looking for a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operate AI-driven solutions that create real business value across the legal, risk, and compliance sectors.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, Python, RAG, NLP, prompt engineering, and scalable AI systems, along with the ability to take ownership of projects from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-based solutions for legal, risk, and compliance use cases.
- Build hands-on software solutions across the AI and backend technology stack.
- Develop RAG pipelines, NLP applications, and intelligent AI workflows.
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, workflow orchestration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with business, advisory, and technology stakeholders to define technical solutions and drive delivery.
- Build reliable, scalable, and production-ready AI systems.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve AI applications in production.
- Implement rigorous testing, code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure AI solutions follow strong data security, governance, privacy, and compliance principles, particularly when working with sensitive legal and client information.
- Take ownership of technical challenges and contribute to continuous innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python.
- Strong experience with Generative AI / LLM applications.
- Hands-on experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of NLP and Prompt Engineering.




- Experience building and deploying AI systems in production.
- Experience with model evaluation and optimization.
- Understanding of agentic workflows and AI orchestration.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong software engineering, debugging, testing, and documentation skills.
- Experience building and operating systems at scale with high reliability.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in legal, regulatory, risk, or compliance technology.
- Experience with PHP / Laravel.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with React / Next.js.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Experience with AWS ECS.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience working with sensitive or regulated data.

Pay: Up to ₹1,600,000.00 per year
