Job Responsibilities:

- Monitor DRI plant operations from the control room.
- Operate and monitor DCS/PLC system and process parameters.
- Monitor mechanical equipment such as rotary kiln, fans, conveyors, feeders, blowers and coolers.
- Maintain required temperature, pressure, flow and other process parameters.
- Coordinate with field operators and mechanical maintenance team.
- Identify equipment/process abnormalities and take timely corrective action.
- Maintain shift logbooks, production records and equipment status.
- Support secure plant start-up, shutdown and emergency operations.
- Follow SOP, safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–8 years of experience in DRI/Sponge Iron/Steel Plant.
- Experience in DRI mechanical operations and control room operation preferred.
- Knowledge of rotary kiln and related mechanical equipment.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.
