Job Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and other teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct practical/laboratory sessions and ensure proper safety procedures.
- Explain concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methodologies, activities, experiments, and digital tools.
- Assess and evaluate students through class tests, periodic assessments, examinations, and assignments.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide timely support to improve learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and academic performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students and address their academic needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
- Participate actively in PTMs, school events, workshops, meetings, and other academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the academic team for curriculum planning and implementation.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, subject developments, and innovative teaching practices.

Eligibility

For PGT Chemistry:

- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.)



in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification as per applicable CBSE/school norms.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school preferred.

For TGT Chemistry:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Chemistry or relevant Science subject from a recognized university, as per CBSE/school eligibility norms.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred/required as per applicable norms.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to conduct Chemistry practicals effectively.
- Student-friendly and innovative approach to teaching.
- Valuable documentation and assessment skills.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and ERP/LMS platforms.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and teamwork.

Experience

PGT: 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
TGT: 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
