Remote Chess Educator

We are looking for a Remote Chess Coach based in India to teach students through live online classes.

This is a flexible freelance teaching opportunity where coaches can choose their preferred teaching slots based on their availability. Classes are scheduled according to student availability and demand, with opportunities available across different time slots, including daytime and night hours in Indian Standard Time (IST).

The ideal candidate should have strong chess expertise, Excellent English communication, and effective teaching skills to explain chess concepts logically and engagingly to children and teenagers.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct live online chess classes for students.
- Teach chess concepts, tactics, strategies, openings, endgames, and game analysis according to the student's level.
- Explain concepts clearly using age-appropriate and engaging teaching methods.
- Encourage students to think independently and develop problem-solving skills.
- Adapt teaching methods according to the student's age, skill level, and learning pace.
- Maintain a positive, interactive,



and professional online classroom setting.
- Provide a consistent and high-quality learning experience.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge and understanding of chess.
- Previous experience teaching or coaching chess, preferably with children or teenagers.
- Fluent spoken English with clear communication.
- Comfortable teaching students from different age groups and backgrounds.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable computer/laptop with webcam and microphone.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Professional, punctual, and reliable approach to teaching.
