Educational Qualification

Essential:

- M.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / M.Sc. (Speech-Language Pathology) / M.Sc. (Audiology) / MASLP or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Ph.D. in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Speech & Hearing, or a relevant/core/allied discipline.
- Valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registration in the relevant discipline.

The current RCI BASLP curriculum specifies these qualifications for Professor-level faculty.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience at UG/PG level in a university, college, or recognized academic institution.
- Experience in teaching, clinical training, research, and academic administration in Audiology and/or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in developing and coordinating undergraduate training programs is desirable.
- Experience in supervising postgraduate dissertations and/or doctoral research is highly desirable.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, examination duties, and institutional committees will be an advantage.

RCI's BASLP faculty requirements specify 10 years of teaching experience at UG/PG level for Professor and also identify experience running undergraduate training programs as desirable. SS3WaaS

Research & Academic Requirements

- Robust record of research publications in peer-reviewed/indexed journals.
- Ability to supervise research projects, dissertations, and doctoral scholars.
- Demonstrated contribution to research in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Speech & Hearing, or related areas.
- Participation in conferences, seminars, workshops, continuing professional development programs, and research projects.




- Ability to develop research collaborations and obtain research grants is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in relevant areas of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise BASLP academic and clinical training.
- Conduct and supervise clinical assessments and intervention training covering speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, swallowing, and related communication disorders.
- Mentor students in academic, clinical, professional, and research activities.
- Guide undergraduate projects, postgraduate dissertations, and Ph.D. research where applicable.
- Develop and revise course content, lesson plans, clinical protocols, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations, viva voce, and other academic evaluations.
- Maintain academic and clinical records in accordance with institutional and RCI requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and institutional committees.
- Promote research publications, conferences, workshops, and continuing education.
- Establish collaborations with hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centres, and other organizations for student clinical training.
- Ensure that teaching and clinical activities comply with applicable RCI and university standards.

- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
