Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall HR & IR activities for the steel plant.
- Handle industrial relations, union management, grievances, disciplinary matters and settlements.
- Lead manpower planning, recruitment, deployment and workforce productivity.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage performance appraisal, training, employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee contract labour management and contractor compliance.
- Monitor HR costs, manpower budgets, absenteeism and productivity.
- Provide HR support to plant leadership and drive HR policies and initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- Solid experience in plant HR and industrial relations, preferably in steel, metals, mining or heavy manufacturing.
- Proven experience in managing large workforces and unionized environments.
- Strong negotiation, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
