- Operate fiber optic cable manufacturing equipment such as SZ stranding, buffering, sheathing, coloring, and jacketing machines.
- Monitor production parameters and ensure cables meet customer and industry specifications.
- Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production schedules.
- Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks on fiber optic cables.
- Measure cable dimensions, attenuation, and other quality parameters using testing instruments.
- Identify and report production defects, equipment issues, and process deviations.
- Maintain production records, batch reports, and machine logs.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production Planning teams.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and 5S practices.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and ensure proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Minimize material wastage and improve production efficiency.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of optical fiber cable manufacturing processes.




- Basic understanding of FTTH cable construction and specifications.
- Ability to operate production machinery and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read production documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or related field.
- Certification in Fiber Optics or Manufacturing Operations is an added advantage.

Experience

- 1 to 5 years of experience in optical fiber cable manufacturing or cable production industry.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may be considered for trainee positions.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
