We are building a platform that processes real money and real transactions. That makes quality assurance not just a nice-to-have — it's foundational. As our QA Engineer Intern, you'll own the testing layer for our payment flows, APIs, and end-to-end product journeys. You'll work closely with our backend and full-stack developers to catch issues before they reach users.

What you'll do

- Design, write, and execute test cases for payment flows, API endpoints, and product features
- Perform end-to-end testing across web and mobile surfaces — functional, regression, and edge-case coverage
- Specialise in payment gateway testing: simulate transactions, test failure scenarios, and validate webhook handling
- Write automated test scripts using tools like Postman, Playwright, or Cypress
- Document bugs clearly with reproduction steps, environment details, and severity classification
- Maintain test plans and test reports; track bug resolution in collaboration with developers
- Participate in sprint planning and flag quality risks before features go to production
- Build and maintain a regression test suite as the product evolves

Must-haves

- BE / B.Tech or pursuing final year (CS, IT, or related)
- Basic understanding of software testing principles — unit, integration, E2E
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman
- Ability to read and understand basic code (JavaScript or Python)




- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
- Ability to articulate bugs clearly in written form

Nice-to-haves

- Prior internship or project experience in QA or testing
- Exposure to payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU)
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database state verification
- Understanding of escrow flows or fintech product concepts

Responsibilities

- Be the last line of defence before features reach end users
- Proactively identify areas of the product with insufficient test coverage
- Own the QA process for payment integration testing — including sandbox, staging, and pre-production environments
- Communicate quality risks clearly to the tech lead and founders
- Contribute to building a QA culture on a team where testing is everyone's responsibility
