Chief Ethics Officer

Location: Bengaluru
Function: Legal, Compliance & Ethics
Reporting: Operationally to the General Counsel; Functionally to the Compliance Committee

Role Overview

Wipro is seeking a highly credible and experienced leader to serve as its Chief Ethics Officer , responsible for strengthening the organisation's culture of integrity, accountability, ethical conduct and trust across a global workforce.

The role will lead Wipro's Ethics Office and provide enterprise-wide oversight of ethics governance, POSH, Ombuds, employee concern mechanisms, investigations, whistleblower processes, conflict of interest management and ethics culture initiatives. The position operates with a high degree of independence and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and governance committees on ethics, integrity and conduct-related matters.

͏Key Responsibilities

Ethics, Governance & Culture

Develop and execute Wipro's enterprise-wide ethics and integrity strategy.
Strengthen a culture of transparency,



accountability and ethical decision-making.
Drive ethics governance, policy management and Code of Conduct adherence.
Lead ethics awareness, training and culture-building initiatives globally.

Ombuds, POSH & Employee Concerns

Lead Ombuds and employee concern programmes.
Oversee POSH governance and related investigations.
Foster a strong "speak-up" culture through trusted and effective reporting channels.
Ensure timely, fair and transparent resolution of concerns.

Investigations & Forensics

Lead significant investigations involving misconduct, fraud, ethics violations, whistleblower complaints and conflicts of interest.
Oversee forensic investigations and enterprise-level misconduct reviews.
Ensure independent, confidential and objective investigation practices.
Present investigation findings and recommendations to senior leadership and governance bodies.

Ethics Governance & Compliance Processes

Provide oversight for:
Conflict of Interest Management
Gifts & Entertainment Disclosures
Ethics Certifications
Integrity Reporting & Monitoring
Whistleblower Governance

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead and develop a high-performing global Ethics Office.
Engage effectively with Executive Leadership, Audit Committees, Compliance Committees and Board stakeholders.
Provide insights on emerging ethics, conduct and integrity risks.

Candidate Profile





Experience

20+ years of experience across Ethics, Compliance, Investigations, Forensics, Risk, Internal Audit, Governance or related disciplines.
Significant experience leading enterprise-wide ethics, investigations or integrity programmes within large organisations.
Proven track record managing complex investigations, whistleblower matters, misconduct reviews and forensic assignments.
Experience operating in global, matrixed and publicly listed organisations.

Preferred Qualifications

One or more of the following would be advantageous:
CA
CFE
CIA
CCEP
CISA
CAMS
LLB / LLM
MBA from a reputed institution
