About NewsBreak24

NewsBreak24 is an independent digital news publication based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, delivering timely news and updates from India and around the world across web and social platforms.

We're looking for a fast, creative and highly news-aware Social Media News Publisher to manage NewsBreak24's daytime social publishing.

What You'll Do

- Monitor breaking news, trending developments and NewsBreak24's editorial feed throughout the day.
- Publish news content across Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Turn website stories into platform-appropriate social posts.
- Write accurate, engaging headlines, captions and descriptions.
- Prepare content using NewsBreak24's approved social templates.
- Perform basic Canva/graphic editing.
- Prepare simple short-form videos/Reels when required.
- Select appropriate images/video while respecting copyright and attribution requirements.
- Verify the source/context of social content before publishing.
- Coordinate with the website editorial team during breaking news.
- Ensure captions, credits, disclaimers and source attribution are included when required.
- Monitor comments/messages and escalate editorial, legal or grievance-related matters.
- Track social performance and identify high-performing formats/topics.
- Stay informed about platform features and relevant social trends.




- Maintain NewsBreak24's visual identity and editorial tone across platforms.
- Follow NewsBreak24's editorial, verification, AI and sponsored-content policies.

What We're Looking For

- Solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Strong English writing skills.
- Excellent awareness of Indian and international current affairs.
- Ability to distinguish genuine news from misinformation or misleading viral content.
- Canva skills.
- Basic video editing/Reels experience preferred.
- Ability to work quickly during breaking news.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely and communicating continuously with the newsroom.
- Digital media/news-page experience is a strong advantage.
