Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled CNC Wood Department Supervisor to manage our CNC wood production operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising CNC operators/workers, developing new wooden designs, operating and managing CNC machines, ensuring production targets, and maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of CNC Router Machines, wood cutting, carving, engraving, design development, and CNC production processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the CNC Wood Department.
- Handle a team of CNC machine operators and wood-working workers.
- Develop and create new and cutting-edge wooden designs for trophies, awards, mementos, and customized products.
- Prepare and modify designs according to production requirements.
- Operate and supervise CNC Router Machines and other related CNC equipment.
- Understand CNC machine settings, tool selection, cutting, routing, engraving, carving, and drilling processes.
- Convert designs into production-ready CNC files and ensure proper machine programming.
- Check drawings, dimensions, measurements, and machine cutting requirements before production.
- Plan daily production according to orders and delivery schedules.
- Allocate work to CNC operators and workers and monitor their performance.
- Ensure proper machine setup, tool changing, material loading, and machine operation.




- Monitor the complete process from wood selection and design preparation to CNC cutting, carving, and finishing.
- Inspect finished products for dimensions, design accuracy, finishing, and quality.
- Troubleshoot basic CNC machine and production-related issues.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Fitting, Paint, and other departments for smooth workflow.
- Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
- Maintain proper records of production, material usage, machine issues, and completed jobs.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of CNC machines and the work area.
- Train workers/operators regarding machine operation, safety, quality, and work procedures.
- Ensure that all work is completed safely, accurately, and within the required timeline.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of CNC Router Machines.
- Good knowledge of wood cutting, routing, carving, engraving, and drilling.
- Ability to develop recent wooden product designs.
- Knowledge of CNC design/programming and production files.
- Understanding of machine tools, cutters, speeds, feeds, and basic troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of measurements and technical drawings.
- Strong worker/team handling skills.
- Good production planning and problem-solving ability.
- Quality-focused and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.

Experience & Qualification

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in CNC wood working / CNC router / furniture / trophy / customized wooden product manufacturing.
- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in CNC wood production will be given preference.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
