Role Overview

We are looking for an HVAC / AHU Engineer responsible for the operation, maintenance, monitoring and documentation of HVAC systems, AHUs and air-conditioning systems in a medical device manufacturing environment.

The role will involve ensuring proper environmental conditions in production and cleanroom areas, carrying out preventive/breakdown maintenance and maintaining required HVAC-related records and documentation as per GMP and QMS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, monitor and maintain AHUs, HVAC systems, AC systems and associated equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems serving cleanroom and controlled manufacturing areas.
- Monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure, airflow and air changes, as applicable.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of HVAC/AHU systems.
- Support AHU cleaning, filter replacement, inspection and maintenance activities.
- Maintain and update HVAC-related logbooks, checklists, preventive maintenance records and equipment history.
- Prepare/maintain relevant SOPs, formats, maintenance records and other HVAC documentation.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately, timely and as per GMP/QMS requirements.
- Support HVAC-related activities during internal, customer and regulatory audits.
- Coordinate with Production,



Quality and EHS teams for HVAC-related requirements and observations.
- Monitor HVAC performance and highlight abnormalities or deviations.
- Support qualification/validation activities related to HVAC/AHU systems, wherever applicable.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, corrective actions, spare parts and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable GMP / ISO 13485 requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / HVAC / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC/AHU maintenance.
- Experience in pharma, medical devices, healthcare, cleanroom or other regulated manufacturing will be preferred.
- Good understanding of AHU and HVAC systems.
- Basic knowledge of cleanroom HVAC parameters and environmental controls.
- Ability to maintain technical and maintenance documentation.
- Basic understanding of GMP and ISO 13485/QMS documentation requirements will be an advantage.
- Positive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Basic MS Office/Excel skills for maintaining records and reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from Medical Devices / Pharma / API / Biotechnology / Cleanroom Manufacturing environments would be preferred.

Candidates with hands-on exposure to AHU, HVAC, cleanroom systems and HVAC documentation should be given priority.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
