LAB TECHNICIAN – JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Lab Technician / Phlebotomist
Location: Apollo Clinic, Tiruppur
Gender: Male / Female
Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Collect blood and other patient samples safely and accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard procedures.
- Handle sample labeling, processing, and storage.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and patient records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and quality-control procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff regarding reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.

Qualifications

- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Previous hospital/clinic laboratory experience preferred.




- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
