About the role

Shivi Makeup Academy is looking for a Makeup & Hairstyling Assistant for our academy in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. The candidate should be a trained makeup artist with basic hairstyling skills and should be comfortable assisting with makeup-related work at the academy as well as during makeup assignments when required.

This is a permanent, part-time, in-person role. Freshers with proper makeup training can also apply.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist with makeup and hairstyling work at the academy.
- Assist during bridal and other makeup assignments whenever required.
- Help with bridal touch-ups and basic makeup corrections during assignments.
- Assist with basic hairstyling and hair preparation.
- Arrange and organise makeup products, brushes, hair tools and other materials before and after makeup sessions.
- Assist during student practical sessions and demonstrations at the academy.
- Help maintain makeup products, tools and workstations in an organised manner.
- Support the makeup artist/teacher with other makeup and hairstyling-related tasks as required.

Candidate requirements:





- Candidate should be a trained makeup artist and should have practical knowledge of makeup application.
- Should have basic hairstyling skills and be comfortable assisting with hairstyles.
- Freshers who have completed a professional makeup course can apply.
- Must be comfortable assisting with bridal makeup, touch-ups and makeup assignments.
- Must be willing and able to commute regularly to Indiranagar, Bengaluru.
- Should be versatile and willing to assist with makeup assignments whenever required.
- Must be able to communicate comfortably in Kannada.
- Basic Hindi and English communication would be an advantage.
- Should be responsible, punctual, organised and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
- Prior experience as a makeup artist or makeup assistant would be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

Work location:
Shivi Makeup Academy, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, near Indiranagar Metro Station.

Available shifts:
Morning: 9:15 AM to 3:15 PM
Evening: 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Number of openings: 2

This is a permanent, part time, in-office position.

Pay: ₹11,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
