- Maintain and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, and fittings throughout the hospital.
- Ensure continuous power supply to critical areas such as ICU, OT, emergency, and wards.
- Operate and monitor DG sets, UPS systems, and power backup systems.
- Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergencies promptly.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting, fans, AC power supply points, and emergency lights.
- Coordinate with vendors for electrical repairs and installations when required.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records and log books.
- Follow electrical safety norms and hospital infection control guidelines.
- Identify and report potential electrical hazards immediately.
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical regulations.
- Support hospital departments during equipment installation or relocation.
- Be available for shift duty, night duty, and emergency on-call services.
- Ensure electrical tools and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
