Qualification & Experience

Diploma OT Assistant from a recognised university.

At least 2-3 years experience in Operation Theater

Language: MARATHI, HINDI & ENGLISH is Mandatory

Principal Responsibilities

1. Helping in arranging patient’s trolley and transferring to and from the operation theatre.

2. To be responsible that the OT is in fit condition i.e. cleaned and sterilized.

3. To assist in making position of the patient on the table.

4. To ensure that trolley has all the instruments, equipments, drugs, syringes etc.

5. Packing of syringes, instruments and special trays.

6. Washing and cleaning of gloves, instruments, needles and syringes etc.

7. Maintaining the cleanliness of the dept. and dusting of issuing area, sterilization area.

8. Messenger service to the wards and department.

9. To change the gas cylinder.

10. Strict adherence to Infection Control Policies & proper handling of bio-medical waste generated.

11. Adherence to Hospital’s dress code.
