Senior Accountant – Building & Construction Industry

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with 10–12 years of relevant experience in the building, construction, or infrastructure industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, project-related accounts, taxation, billing, and financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Handle project-wise accounting, expenses, material purchases, subcontractor bills, and site expenses.
- Prepare and verify RA bills, client invoices, purchase bills, and subcontractor bills.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and timely filing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS, cash flow statements, and expense summaries.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, subcontractor, and bank accounts.




- Monitor project-wise cost and expenses and coordinate with project/site teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, clients, and vendors when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.

Requirements:

- 10–12 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Building & Construction / Infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting, billing, and taxation.
- Experience with project-wise accounting and construction-related billing.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet deadlines.
