Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in ABAP Cloud development, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP S/4HANA extensibility, and RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP BTP while following clean-core principles and SAP development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy applications using ABAP Cloud on SAP BTP.
Build and enhance SAP S/4HANA extensions using SAP BTP ABAP Setting (Steampunk).
Develop applications utilizing RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
Create and consume OData Services, REST APIs, and SOAP web services.
Develop custom business objects, CDS Views, behavior definitions, and service bindings.
Implement side-by-side extensions following SAP Clean Core principles.
Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and event-driven architectures.
Develop and optimize SAP HANA database artifacts and CDS-based data models.
Work with SAP Fiori developers to enable backend services for UI applications.




Troubleshoot performance issues and implement optimization techniques.
Ensure secure coding practices, transport management, and DevOps standards.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture workshops.
Prepare technical specifications and support production deployments.

Skill Requirements

Have 8-10 years of working experience as a technical ABAP developer in SAP with at least 2 -3 years of experience working in SAP S/4HANA system.
Must have hands on development experience on CDS views.
Must have hands on development experience on RAP both in S/4 HANA and BTP ABAP.
Experience in S/4 HANA Low Code No Code Key User Extensibility ABAP Development Tool
Should have experience of setting up Communication arrangement, Event Mesh REST API
Should have experience in Flexi Workflow enhancement.
Understanding of Clean Core development

Other Requirements

SAP Certified in BTP ABAP .
