PMO Lead – Electronics

Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end PMO activities for automotive electronics product development projects.
- Drive project planning, execution, monitoring and closure in line with customer and organizational requirements.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Electronics, Software, Mechanical, Quality, Testing, Sourcing, Manufacturing and other CFTs.
- Drive T0/T1/T2 prototype builds, validation, PPAP and production readiness activities.
- Ensure timely availability of electronic components, PCBs/PCBAs, samples, tools and test resources.
- Monitor APQP deliverables and ensure compliance with NPD/NPI processes.
- Coordinate engineering changes, BOM updates, component approvals and technical documentation.
- Manage supplier activities related to electronics component and PCBA development, qualification and delivery.
- Coordinate customer reviews, project updates, technical discussions and issue resolutions.
- Prepare and present project dashboards, MIS, milestone status, risks and escalation reports to management.
- Drive timely resolution of cross-functional issues and ensure adherence to quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Support product transfer to production and ensure smooth project handover to manufacturing teams.
- Mentor and guide PMO/project team members and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech. Electronics / ECE / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
Experience
8-25 Years
Technical Details
- Strong experience in Project Management / PMO for automotive electronics product development
- New Product Development (NPD/NPI) and end-to-end project execution
- Solid knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA and product validation
- Automotive electronics, Instrument Cluster, PCBA and electronic module development
- Understanding of hardware development, PCB/PCBA, embedded systems and HW-SW integration
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C and UART protocols
- Project planning, milestone tracking, risk management and escalation
- BOM management, engineering changes and product documentation
- Supplier and customer coordination
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills
