ROLE OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Supervisor Intern will support day-to-day warehouse management, inventory control, quality assurance, and staff coordination. This is a hands-on internship designed to provide practical exposure to warehouse operations, supply chain management, inventory systems, quality control, and team leadership. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and supervisory team to optimize operations, ensure product safety, and maintain smooth warehouse functionality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWarehouse Operations Support
· Assist with daily warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing)
· Monitor warehouse layout, space utilization, and product placement
· Coordinate material handling and ensure compliance with safety standards
· Support shift planning and worker allocation
· Track operational metrics (throughput, cycle time, productivity)
· Prepare daily warehouse status reports for management
Inventory Management
· Track incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse management system (WMS)
· Conduct inventory counts and reconciliation
· Monitor stock levels and flag discrepancies
· Assist with stock transfer between locations
· Prepare inventory reports and variance analysis
· Support cycle count activities
Quality Control & Compliance
· Inspect incoming products for quality, damage, and compliance
· Monitor storage conditions (temperature, humidity) for perishable inventory
· Document quality issues and support root cause analysis
· Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies
· Support hygiene and sanitation checks
· Maintain quality audit documentation
Team Coordination & Training Support
· Assist in coordinating warehouse staff schedules and assignments
· Support onboarding and training of warehouse personnel
· Monitor team performance and attendance
· Communicate operational instructions and safety guidelines
· Assist in resolving operational issues and conflicts
Documentation & Data Management
· Maintain organized warehouse records and documentation
· Update inventory registers and stock cards
· Prepare trip reports,
delivery confirmations, and dispatch summaries
· Support data entry and spreadsheet management
· Assist with compliance and audit documentation
· Maintain equipment and facility maintenance logs
Safety & Maintenance
· Monitor warehouse safety compliance and identify hazards
· Support safety training and induction programs
· Track equipment maintenance schedules (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
· Coordinate with maintenance teams on facility repairs
· Ensure compliance with material handling and storage protocols
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation
· Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree (any stream) or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations
Skills & Competencies
· Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for inventory tracking
· Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management (or willingness to learn)
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English and regional languages (Malayalam preferred)
· Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
· Ability to work in a physically demanding, operational environment
· Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
· Physical capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, climb, lift, and move around warehouse

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior internship or work experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain
· Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
· Knowledge of food safety standards and cold chain management
· Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
· Exposure to agribusiness or FMCG supply chains
· Certified forklift operator (not required but helpful)
· Understanding of quality control and inspection processes

INTERNSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONSDuration & Schedule
· Duration: 3 months (full-time internship)
· Work days: Monday to Saturday (6 days per week)
· Working hours: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (shifts vary based on warehouse schedule)
Compensation & Benefits
· Monthly stipend: ₹5,000 (disbursed monthly via bank transfer)
· No health insurance, PF, or statutory benefits during internship
· Reimbursement: Local transportation costs may be reimbursed (subject to approval)
· Uniforms/PPE provided by Aeden for warehouse work
Expectations & Conduct
· Interns are bound by Aeden's Code of Conduct, confidentiality policy, and operational guidelines
· Attendance and punctuality are mandatory; shift adherence is critical
· Interns must follow all safety protocols, use PPE, and report hazards immediately
· Work assigned must be completed with accuracy, ownership, and accountability
· Physical work and warehouse environment exposure is expected
· Any breach of conduct or safety guidelines may result in internship termination
Post-Internship
· Performance evaluation will be conducted at the end of the internship
· Strong performers may be considered for full-time or extended roles (Warehouse Assistant, Supervisor)
· Certificate of completion and reference letter will be provided
· No contractual obligation for either party beyond the 3-month period
WORKING CONDITIONS & LOCATION
· Warehouse location: Aeden Warehouse, Netoor, Kerala
· Work setting: Warehouse facility with storage, loading/unloading areas, and office space
· Operational setting: Inside warehouse (temperature-controlled or ambient), vehicle parking, and dock areas
· Physical demands: Standing for extended periods, climbing, bending, lifting up to 20–30 kg, moving around facility
· Safety: Mandatory PPE (safety shoes, helmet, gloves), hard hat use, and strict adherence to safety protocols
· Shift work: May include early morning shifts or evening shifts depending on operational requirements
