Role: Car Evaluator / Automotive Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Car Evaluators / Automotive Technicians to inspect and assess used passenger vehicles at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on automotive experience, good knowledge of vehicle condition assessment, and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer locations to inspect passenger cars.
- Assess the overall condition of vehicles, including engine, body, tyres, battery, and other major components.
- Identify and evaluate mechanical and physical issues in vehicles.
- Capture vehicle details, photographs, and inspection findings using a mobile application.
- Accurately record inspection information and complete reports.
- Explain the vehicle condition and inspection findings clearly to customers.
- Manage daily field visits and travel within the assigned area.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle evaluations.
Candidate Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience as a Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or a relevant technical field.
- Hands-on experience with passenger cars and vehicle inspection.
- Experience with reputed automotive dealerships,
used-car businesses, or service networks is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Good car driving skills.
- Own vehicle is required for field travel.
- Basic English reading ability.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to work in a field-based role with regular travel.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in organisations such as Maruti True Value, Mahindra First Choice, Toyota, Tata, or similar automotive dealerships/service networks will be preferred.
Not Suitable For This Role
- Service Advisors without hands-on vehicle inspection experience
- Commercial vehicle mechanics with only truck/bus experience
- Plant / Factory Technicians without passenger-car experience

An experienced automotive professional with strong passenger-car inspection skills, a valid driving licence, own vehicle, and willingness to travel regularly for customer visits.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
