Key Responsibilities

- Handle mechanical engineering activities for oil refinery, petrochemical, and process industry projects.
- Review and interpret P&IDs;, mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering documents.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
- Work with equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, piping systems, valves, tanks, and rotating equipment.
- Coordinate with project, maintenance, procurement, vendors, contractors, and other engineering teams.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical issues and corrective actions.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities where applicable.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved engineering specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with inspection teams for equipment inspection, testing, and certification.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, equipment records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Assist in shutdown/turnaround maintenance and project activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable API, ASME, ISO, and industry standards.
- Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and progress reviews.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and refinery HSE standards.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment used in Oil & Gas/Refinery plants.
- Hands-on experience with rotating and static equipment.
- Good understanding of piping, valves, pumps, compressors, vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks.
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs;, GA drawings, mechanical drawings, and equipment datasheets.
- Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with API/ASME standards will be preferred.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering documentation.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Relevant Oil & Gas / Refinery experience is mandatory.

Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Oil Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, or Process Industry.
- Candidates currently working in refinery/process plant projects or maintenance environments will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.
- Willingness to work at Navi Mumbai and, if required, at project/site locations.

Pay: ₹19,857.43 - ₹62,285.22 per month
