Shift Timings: 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST (US Shift)

Work Schedule: 6 days a week (5 mandatory hours/day) with 1 rotational weekday off

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, articulate, and passionate Online English Tutor to teach K-12 students in the United States. You will guide young learners in mastering English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, creative writing, and spoken communication in a fun and interactive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver Live Sessions: Conduct interactive 1-on-1 or small group online English lessons tailored to US K-12 standards.
- Language & Literacy Skill Building: Teach grammar, phonics, reading comprehension, creative writing, public speaking, and vocabulary building.
- Student Engagement: Foster an encouraging learning workplace using gamified teaching methods, storytelling, and interactive materials.
- Progress Tracking: Evaluate student performance, assign practice exercises, and track reading/writing milestones.
- Parental Updates: Share clear,



actionable progress reports with parents on student development and areas for improvement.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, Linguistics, Mass Communication, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching English or Language Arts to K-12 students (US curriculum exposure is a strong plus).
- Communication: Near-native/fluent English language proficiency (both spoken and written) with clear pronunciation and neutral accent.
- Shift Availability: Must be strictly available to work the 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST shift, 6 days a week.
- Technical Infrastructure:
- High-speed broadband internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps).
- Functional laptop/desktop with a HD webcam and clear microphone/headset.
- Uninterrupted power backup.

Key Competencies

- Excellent storytelling, voice modulation, and audience management skills.
- Strong grasp of English grammar, mechanics, and creative writing techniques.
- High patience, empathy, and ability to build quick rapport with children.

Pay: ₹300.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
