About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright-based automation and DICOM/healthcare workflows. The role involves building and maintaining scalable automation solutions for healthcare and medical imaging applications, validating end-to-end DICOM workflows, and ensuring product quality across releases.

The ideal candidate will have strong automation and programming skills, experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript, and a solid understanding of DICOM and healthcare imaging workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable automation scripts using Playwright.
- Automate end-to-end healthcare and medical imaging workflows.
- Validate DICOM ingestion, processing, output and data integrity.
- Compare expected/golden DICOM outputs with test outputs using key attributes and metadata.
- Automate DICOM workflows such as DICOM Send → Processing → DICOM Receive → Validation.
- Validate AI/ML results and scorecards stored within DICOM data where applicable.
- Perform UI, API, integration, regression and functional automation testing.
- Identify regressions, analyze automation failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Manage test data, configurations, test environments and automation dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product and DevOps teams to understand workflows and resolve quality issues.
- Contribute to automation framework development, maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and follow automation best practices.




- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation or software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong understanding of DICOM fundamentals, data flow and healthcare/medical imaging workflows.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of UI and API automation testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Positive to Have

- Hands-on experience with Python for automation and scripting.
- Experience with PACS, RIS, Medical Imaging, Radiology or Viewer applications.
- Knowledge of HL7 or other healthcare standards.
- Experience testing AI/ML-based healthcare applications.
- Experience with Node.js and Playwright.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with performance or non-functional testing.

Preferred Domain Experience

Candidates from Healthcare, Medical Devices, Medical Imaging, Radiology, PACS, RIS or Diagnostic Imaging environments are preferred.

DICOM experience is mandatory.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
