Key Responsibilities

- Monitor patients’ vital signs and health conditions.
- Provide bedside nursing care to ICU and NICU patients.
- Administer medicines, injections and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations, treatments and emergency procedures.
- Operate and monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, incubators and other equipment.
- Provide feeding, hygiene and general care to newborn babies.
- Maintain accurate nursing and medication records.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
- Inform doctors immediately about changes in a patient’s condition.
- Provide proper handover during shift changes.
- Educate and support patients and their family members.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ICU/NICU.

Clinical Skills

- Comprehensive Patient Assessment, Medication Administration, IV Cannulation & Venipuncture, Wound Care & Dressing, Vital Signs Monitoring, Specimen Collection, Pain Assessment & Management, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)



(preferred for critical care areas), Infection Prevention & Control, Biomedical Waste Management, Emergency Response, Documentation & Record Keeping, Patient Education, Clinical Decision-Making

Qualifications

- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- CValid Nursing Council registration
- BLS/NRP certification is preferred.

Experience

- Basic knowledge of ICU and NICU nursing care
- Valuable communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to handle emergencies
- Willingness to work rotational shifts
- Ability to work effectively with doctors and the nursing team.

Salary:

INR 20,000/- based on the experience & skills
