Job Title: Nursing Assistant – Skin & Aesthetic Clinic
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to join our aesthetic team. You will work closely with our Dermatologists and Aesthetic Doctors to ensure clinical safety and provide top-tier care to patients undergoing cosmetic procedures. Your role is essential in maintaining a sterile environment and assisting in treatments ranging from chemical peels to laser therapies.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Procedure Support:
- Assisting the Doctor: Prep patients for procedures (cleansing skin, applying numbing creams) and assist the doctor during minor surgeries, biopsies, and injectable treatments (Botox/Fillers).
- Machine Operation: Set up and maintain aesthetic devices such as lasers, hydra-facial machines, and radio-frequency equipment.
- Patient Monitoring: Observe patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions; provide post-care instructions and apply dressings.
Sterilization & Maintenance:
- Infection Control: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms according to strict medical protocols.
- Room Turnover: Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with consumables (syringes, gauze, serums) and rearranged quickly between appointments.
- Bio-medical Waste: Handle and dispose of sharps and clinical waste following safety regulations.
Patient Experience:
- Pre-procedure Prep: Escort patients to rooms, take "before and after" clinical photographs, and record vital signs if necessary.
- Education: Answer basic patient questions regarding recovery time and post-treatment skincare routines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ANM/GNM nursing degree or a certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience. Specific experience in Dermatology, Plastics, or Aesthetics is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques (Autoclaving).
- Familiarity with skin anatomy and common aesthetic procedures.
- Basic computer skills for updating patient charts.
- Personal Attributes: * Exceptional hygiene and grooming standards.
- Steady hands and attention to detail.
- A calm, reassuring bedside manner.
Working Conditions
- Workplace: Clean, modern, and professional clinical setting.
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kunnamangalam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
