Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers and accounting records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers and payment documents.
- Assist in GST and TDS related work and documentation.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports and statements.
- Assist in audit and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers and internal teams regarding accounts-related matters.

Requirements





- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks independently.
