Job Description – IT Support

Position: IT Support
Location: Symbiosis Bengaluru Campus
Experience: 4–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 technical support to faculty, staff, students, and administrative teams.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
- Provide support for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and basic network connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, system access, email configuration, and IT-related permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure across classrooms, offices, labs, and other campus facilities.
- Support AV equipment, video conferencing systems, smart classrooms, and online meeting platforms.
- Maintain IT asset records, inventory, service records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for hardware, software, networking, and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution and proper tracking of IT support tickets and user complaints.
- Assist in implementing IT security, antivirus, backup, patching, and data protection practices.
- Support new system installations, upgrades,



software deployments, and IT infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support during campus events, examinations, meetings, and academic activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in IT Support / Technical Support / IT Infrastructure.
- Robust knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with CCTV, biometric systems, printers, projectors, and video conferencing systems will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
