- Inventory Management:Maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Purchasing:Planning and executing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and managing vendor relationships.
- Coordination:Collaborating with various departments (sales, finance, warehouse) to understand needs and align purchasing activities.
- Cost Management:Identifying cost-saving opportunities in the purchasing process and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers.
- Compliance:Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management.
- Supplier Management:Evaluating supplier performance, handling returns and exchanges, and staying updated on market trends.
- Reporting:Preparing inventory reports and providing updates to management on stock levels and purchasing activities.
