Your Role

The Artwork Planning Lead is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple packaging artwork projects, from design through to print production, for a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client. With minimum 7 years of experience and a strong background in project management, this individual will lead cross-functional meetings to align priorities, allocate resources effectively, and enhance artwork management efficiency.

This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, Sourcing, Supply, Design, and Operations, to ensure the successful delivery of new products to market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing artwork development and the production process within a CPG company or a related industry.

In this role you will play a key role in:

- Lead and oversee the multiple packaging artwork projects from design through to print package.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (marketing, design, R&D;, regulatory, supply chain) and external stakeholders (agencies, printers, suppliers).
- Sets agenda, and clearly defines cross-functional responsibilities from project start to completion.
- Facilitate regular communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date records of project progress using project management tools and spreadsheets. This includes tracking milestones, deliverables, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, or delays in the artwork development process and implement solutions to mitigate them.
- Compile regular artwork project reports that highlight progress, challenges, and solutions.



Communicate these findings to seniors and cross-functional teams to keep everyone informed and engaged.
- Manage feedback loops, consolidating inputs to minimize iterations and maintain efficiency.
- Act as a mentor/coach for associate artwork planning leads and planning coordinators.

YOUR PROFILE

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, , project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end process of artwork, printing and digital assets creation in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) environment
- 7+ years of experience in artwork management, packaging, or project management within a CPG or FMCG environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment across multiple functions (marketing, R&D;, sourcing, design external agencies and operations)

- Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Jira is crucial for tracking tasks, deadlines, and progress.

- Familiarity in artwork and design software is beneficial; while direct design involvement is not required, a basic understanding of platforms like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) can enhance communication with creative teams.

- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

For this role, the gross annual starting base salary is [X] [currency] (full-time).
