About the role

I’m a freelance digital marketer producing a high volume of short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) across social, brand, and campaign work. I’m looking for a dedicated full-time video editor to be my go-to person for turning raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form videos.

You’ll work directly with me, on my briefs and on my timelines. This is a fully remote role, but not a casual gig. I need someone reliable who treats deadlines seriously and delivers on time, every time.

What you’ll do

- Take the raw recorded footage I send you and edit it into polished short-form videos
- Cut, trim, and tighten clips to keep them rapid-paced and engaging
- Add graphics, text overlays, transitions, and visual effects
- Build strong hooks in the first few seconds ,visual hooks, on-screen written hooks, and music/audio hooks
- Sync edits to the beat; add trending audio, sound effects, and instrumental elements
- Deliver the finished video back to me within the agreed turnaround time
- Turn around revisions quickly when I ask for changes

What I’m looking for





- Proven experience editing short-form content (please share a portfolio or sample Reels/Shorts)
- Strong command of editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- A sharp sense of pacing, hooks, and what makes short-form content actually perform
- Clean motion graphics, captions, and effects work
- Reliability and strong time management you hit deadlines without being chased
- Good communication and responsiveness during working hours
- Your own computer and a stable internet connection

Nice to have

- Understanding of current trends and formats on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- Motion graphics / basic animation skills
- Experience with brand or marketing content
