Job Summary

Responsible for providing efficient nursing care to OPD patients, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, coordinating patient flow, maintaining clinical documentation and ensuring adherence to patient-safety and infection-control standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, assess and prepare patients for OPD consultation and procedures.
- Record vital signs and relevant clinical information accurately.
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform nursing procedures such as IV cannulation, injections, blood collection and medication administration as prescribed and within scope of practice.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure instructions.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and promptly report any abnormal findings.
- Coordinate patient flow between reception, doctors, nursing, laboratory, pharmacy and other departments.
- Ensure all required consents, forms and clinical documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain proper nursing records, registers and patient documentation.
- Follow strict infection-control, hand-hygiene, biomedical-waste and safety protocols.
- Ensure availability of required medicines, consumables and emergency supplies in the OPD/procedure area.
- Assist in maintaining stock and report shortages or expiry of medicines and consumables.




- Provide clear and courteous communication to patients and attendants.
- Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate clinical or service-related issues appropriately.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Support fertility-related OPD and procedures such as IUI, OPU, embryo transfer and other procedures as trained and assigned.
- Coordinate with the embryology/laboratory team whenever required.
- Participate in training, audits and quality-improvement activities.
- Take responsibility for assigned duties and ensure timely completion.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualification

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution with valid registration as applicable.
Experience of minimun 3 years preferably in OBS and Gyn department

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
