Packing In-Charge – Machine Shop

Position: Packing In-Charge

Department: Machine Shop / Production

Experience: 1–2 Years

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily packing activities in the machine shop.

- Ensure machined components are properly cleaned, packed, labelled, and dispatched.

- Verify part numbers, quantities, traceability, and packing requirements before dispatch.

- Ensure components are packed according to customer and company specifications.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.

- Maintain packing material stock and ensure proper utilization.

- Prepare and maintain packing-related records and documentation.

- Ensure proper handling of components to avoid damage, scratches, or contamination.

- Monitor and guide packing operators/helpers in their daily activities.

- Maintain 5S, cleanliness, and safety standards in the packing area.

- Report packing issues, shortages, damages,



or discrepancies to the concerned supervisor/manager.

- Support timely completion of packing and dispatch activities.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of experience in packing / machine shop / manufacturing industry.

- Basic knowledge of machined components and packing methods.

- Ability to verify part numbers and quantities.

- Good communication and team-handling skills.

- Basic documentation and record-maintenance skills.

- Knowledge of 5S and workplace safety.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production workplace.

Candidate Profile

- Responsible and disciplined.

- Good attention to detail.

- Able to coordinate with multiple departments.

- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and rotational shifts, if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
