ABOUT THE ROLE

Mico Plast Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Marketing & Business Development with strong experience in the flexible packaging industry.

This is a business-development-focused role for a candidate who understands the flexible packaging market and, most importantly, has an established customer network and industry relationships.

The ideal candidate should be capable of bringing new business, developing strategic accounts and expanding Mico Plast’s presence across India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Develop new customers and business opportunities across India.

* Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers.

* Generate enquiries and convert them into profitable business.

* Develop new territories, applications and customer segments.

* Identify customers currently sourcing from competitors.

* Increase business from existing accounts through Mico Plast’s product range.

* Handle customer meetings, quotations and commercial negotiations.

* Track sales pipeline, enquiries, orders and market developments.

* Coordinate with production, technical, costing and commercial teams.

* Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

* Report directly to the CEO on business development and market opportunities.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE :

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

* Versatile packaging

* PE / multilayer films

* Laminated rolls

* Printed packaging

* Pouches

* LDPE / LLDPE / HDPE films

* Shrink films

* Stretch films

* FFS / heavy-duty bags

* Industrial packaging

* Liners

* BOPP / CPP packaging

* Agricultural films





* Other flexible packaging products

The candidate should have sufficient technical understanding to discuss packaging structures, applications, specifications and requirements with customers.

MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT – EXISTING CUSTOMER NETWORK

Existing customer network in the flexible packaging industry is a major selection criterion.

We are specifically looking for candidates who already have strong relationships with customers in:

* FMCG

* Food & Beverage

* Pharma

* Personal Care

* Agriculture

* Industrial Packaging

* Chemical / Polymer Industries

* Packaging Converters

* Large Manufacturing Companies

* Distributors / Institutional Buyers

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to open new accounts and generate business through their existing industry relationships.

Industry contacts, customer relationships and proven business-development capability will carry significant weight during selection.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :

* 7–10+ years of relevant experience, preferably substantially within flexible packaging.

* Proven B2B sales / business development experience.

* Strong existing network within the flexible packaging ecosystem.

* Understanding of flexible packaging products and applications.

* Proven track record of acquiring and developing customers.

* Strong negotiation and communication skills.

* Willingness to travel extensively.

MBA / PGDM in Marketing will be an advantage,



but relevant industry experience and sales performance are more important than academic qualifications.

LOCATION & TRAVEL :

Preferred candidate locations:

Trichy | Coimbatore | Tiruppur | Karur | Erode | Salem

Candidates based in or around these locations will be preferred, particularly those who already have strong customer relationships in the Tamil Nadu industrial and manufacturing belt.

The role will also involve regular travel across Tamil Nadu and other major business markets across India.

Company Travel Benefits

* Hotel accommodation will be borne by the company.

* Conveyance / business travel expenses will be borne by the company as per company policy.
