About the Role

Portea Medical is looking for dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Officers to drive B2B sales and partnership growth in the healthcare sector.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, generating leads, and contributing to business growth through strategic sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, target-driven, and confident in engaging with healthcare and corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, corporates, and healthcare partners.

- Conduct client meetings, presentations, product/service demonstrations, and sales pitches.

- Generate leads through various channels and convert prospects into business opportunities.

- Achieve and consistently work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.

- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective prospecting and follow-ups.

- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.

- Understand client requirements and propose suitable healthcare solutions.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.

- Maintain strong post-sales relationships and identify opportunities for business expansion.

- Track sales activities, client interactions, follow-ups, and business progress.





- Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports and provide regular updates to the management team.

Qualifications & Experience

- 1–5 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or a similar role.

- Experience in Healthcare, Medical, Insurance, Pharma, or Service Industry Sales is preferred.

- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a target-driven and performance-oriented environment.

- Good stakeholder and client management skills.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings, business development activities, and other work-related requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sales, confident in building client relationships, and motivated by achieving business targets. The candidate should be comfortable with field-based business development activities and possess the ability to convert opportunities into long-term business partnerships.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
