George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Accounts Head to oversee the finance and accounting functions of our automobile dealership.

The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of relevant automobile dealership experience with strong knowledge of accounting operations, GST, TDS, reconciliation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting effective financial management across dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the dealership.
- Supervise and guide the accounts team.
- Review sales, purchase, expense, cash, and bank transactions.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate ledger maintenance and timely reconciliations.
- Conduct bank, customer, vendor, and inter-branch reconciliations.
- Monitor daily cash flow and banking activities.
- Review invoices, vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting documents.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor dealership expenses and identify discrepancies or variances.




- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide management with accurate financial information for decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial controls.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- 6+ years of experience in automobile dealership accounting is preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of dealership accounting operations.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a target-oriented environment.
