Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head – Quality with a 5-6 years of experience to take overall responsibility for manufacturing quality at our Murbad facility. The role focuses on shopfloor and in-process quality, incoming material quality, dispatch quality, QC audits, ISO systems and continuous improvement.

Candidates from a strong manufacturing quality background are welcome. Previous transformer experience is preferred but not mandatory, as product-specific training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall shopfloor and in-process quality function, ensuring defined quality checks and procedures are followed at every stage of manufacturing and deviations are identified before they move to the next stage.
- Establish and maintain quality checkpoints, inspection procedures, records and process controls across manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with Production to reduce defects, rejection, rework and recurring quality issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.




- Ensure effective incoming material quality control, address supplier quality issues and coordinate with Purchase and vendors for corrective action and improvement.
- Take responsibility for final and dispatch quality, including product finish, completeness, accessories, documentation, packing and protection against transit damage.
- Lead QC audits and internal process audits, identify gaps and ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective actions.
- Maintain and strengthen the company's ISO Quality Management System, documentation, SOPs, records and audit readiness; coordinate external and customer quality audits.
- Handle manufacturing-related customer quality complaints, conduct root-cause analysis, implement CAPA and prevent recurrence.
- Lead and develop the Quality team, improve shop-floor quality awareness and drive a culture of process discipline and continuous improvement.

Location: Murbad MIDC, Thane. The company will provide pick-up and drop-off car service from Badlapur/ Kalyan.

Note: Transformer testing is handled separately and is not part of this role's primary responsibility.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
